Is this a gorget?
I'm refering to the red spot on this hummingbird.
The first two photos are a split second apart, holding shutter button down.
This spot is not visible all the time. Of the 30 minutes of viewing and shooting, it shows maybe 10 seconds a minute.

That's a juvenile male Ruby-Throat. It's the only species of hummingbird we have this side of the US.
