Default Frosty
We had a kind of ice fog today that left a wonderful hoarfrost on everything...

A couple of pictures of my backyard...

"Bear" and weeping caragana tree...

Jack Foerster grass

Yeah, I gotta lot of garden knick knacks, or junk, depending on your preference.

these frosts are the most beautiful sites to see in the winter. We haven't had one yet in edmonton, just lots of snow

Similar to all the ice storms we've had, except everything is encased in "glass"! Your pics are beautiful! Warmer weather is ahead...someday.

When I spoke to Dr. Rob in Minn, and Glen Decker in upstate NY both said it was about 7 degrees F! It was warmish and rainy in NYC! If I don't go upstate I might not see snow this year!

Looks a lot like around here the other day. Very pretty, but I much prefer the color green when I look outside. Sigh.

Wow, the second pict. gives a good indication of the height of the snow!!! In Luxembourg we have very few snow, but extremely low temps. going in the night to -15 Celsius! Jean

Wow, looks beautiful...and very cold. Suppose I should stop complaining about the 'freezing' weather here

-3C is not tropical Still it's not as bad continental Europe. Jean mentioned -15, yikes!

I just hope that the cold temps might convince my micranthum to spike. That would certainly be a nice silver lining.
