Default Weird..weird ..weird
A type of dragon fly lit on one of our hummingbird feeders with his dinner attached(his probiscus was piercing the hornets head) I imagine the menu was brains ! Notice the "grip" the dragonfly has on the hanging wire of the hummingbird feeder !!! Sorry for the poor shot, it was taken through the window.

at least you were quick to grab your camera - who cares about the picture quality! Isn't that something!

Dragonflies rock, but this does make me understand a bit more how inner city kids I used to take on nature walks would scream when one came near them! Dragonflies! THEY EAT PEOPLE!

Brains is a delicacy. I didn't know that they hunted as adults also; I used to watch the nymphs catch and eat tadpoles in our pond. Yikes!
