Today I received a message from my husband that was a response to a sex ad. We've been married for 29 years. I spoke with him when he came home; he admitted that he was curious and sent the response. He said he was sorry, and I know he meant it. I have always felt loved, we make love 5 to 6 times a week, and we enjoy each other. He has been a great father, husband and friend. I did not have a fit with him, but I feel devastated. I have to act as though nothing is wrong at home because we have 3 young adopted children living with us, two daughters, their husbands and a granddaughter next door. It is not a matter of him leaving, or me at this point, but I feel so sad. There's nothing wrong with fantasizing about having sex with someone other than your spouse, but he has taken a step that crosses a line. Now there is doubt in my heart, and sadness in my soul.
