Mid terms done. Now 3 papers due next week and I have only finished one. Guess what my weekend looks like. Anybody else got a hormonal sixteen year old girl who wants a car and won't do chores?

I am trying to remain out of prison by not choking the life out of her. Plus I can't replace her, I no longer have a uterus If I hear "whatever" one more time, I am going to tattoo it on her forehead while I am beating her behind. My son wasn't like this. My mom says I am getting it back in spadesthen I guess I am in deep dodo.

I remember what I was like as a teenager.

this is why I've told my husband I want boys and nothing but boys.

OMG...A 16 year old daughter!! I wouldn't want to have to go through that again!! There are no words to describe the hormones, the mood swings, the mouth on them......wagging their tail at every boy that walks by while we try to protect them from themself. Sigh... my sympathy is with you.

But you know me..I always have a suggestion When my daughter was 15, the commercials were out about how this one birth control pill could clear acne---well, her acne was showing signs of coming on strong as it runs in the family AND she tended to scar.

So I killed two birds with one stone---I put her on the pill (we talked about them being hormones so she was now protected from any potential crazy backseat lack of judgment AND she had no acne!! Of course we had tons of talks---And get this---her mood swings stopped all together and she turned out great!!!

Yep, that was the best decision I made---two of her friends ended up pregnant but not my girl and you should see her beautiful skin--and now that she is in her mid twenties she tells me that was the best thing as all her friends were having sex but she wasn't and SHE was the one on the pill!!

Hang in there--the years will pass fast but until then just remember---Grandchildren will be your reward for not killing her as a teenager

We already did the birth control conversation. She will be 17 in a few weeks, so that is my gift to her. Pills. The attitude(she get it from her momma...& her grandma, and her great-grandma) we are a family of women with a special gift. I'll let you figure it out lol.

I don't even want to remember some of the things I did at that age. UGGGGH. There are still some things my mom doesn't know and I am afraid to tell her.

Sorry doofus, I hate the cowbows. I wanted them to lose. My picks this week probably made me the worst in the pool.

Forgot to mention the snake in that fell out of the ceiling in the psych building.
