To all the new people who had to join our band of interesting characters, the new year will be better. It may come in small chunks or even minuscule proportions, but it will come.

To the vets of the wars, we are better aren't we. Even when we didn't think we could take one more step, we did. When we thought we would never smile again. We did.

God bless each of you in the way that you need. Keep you head up so that you can see the light. Keep your shoulders back, it makes it easier to carry the load. And keep your sense of humor, it is the only thing that keeps your sanity in tact.
