I am sure i saw a thread like this but i cannot find it on the search, so please feel free to delete this one if necessary.

My question is, does anybody know what ever happened to th real oldtimers of this site? I know Naga is still active though not as intensely as he used to, but i've not read a word in ages from people like Santeno (CSS creator), Ascariss, Cozz, RikfromBelgium, Andrè, Geary, JBlair, Knicks125....

Does anybody know at all? To be honest, i kind of miss the old Proboard times here.

Think everyone is busy, pretty sure all the mentioned are active (or at least most).
Personally I come and go too, Not been a member too long, 2003 maybe (first time) but lost accounts, reopened them, moved and not touched the site in 18 months etc etc.
For me I've been pretty consistent in the last year.

Think there was a fair few people who 5 or so years back were students or maybe in the early stages of careers, perhaps now simply don't have the time to post as regularly.

I'm sure that many of the Oldtimes mentioned were on here long before me. I've done my best to keep on here consistently, and have found out many, many first-hand news and rumors on this site, and always enjoy sharing of news and rumors, as well as giving and getting information in the automotive community.

I have been around since Proboards days, but only in the chops section so I don't qualify as the real oldtimers . I do remember where the contest section was having at least twenty entries per contest. Back then I was still studying so I did managed to whip out a few chops once in a while.

Now I barely have time to do any chops due to my increased commitments (mostly work) but I do still check out CSS regularly, it's just I don't login that often unless I wanted to post a reply.
I am sure the real oldtimers are still around; like Nath already mentioned, perhaps they don't have the time to post as regularly.

I've been checking these boards out since 2004, give or take, and still remember the old Proboards site. Back then, I was only lurking around, though.

I've been around for quite some time too. I remember Santeno, Naga, elvisinyoface, and few others. I just don't check the boards as much as I used to, mostly due to time. I also remember when we were all super into doing chops, which I was even part of and I really miss it.

I haven't posted much since I lost my first username, CarMattZu, and since Isuzu left NA.... But I still check in and read every day! It is weird to think that I have been on this site for over 6 years, since I was like 14 or 15. Back then everyone thought I was an Isuzu salesman in disguise lol....

I remember the old days when the site was that blue color scheme and contests had lots of enteries. I was crazy about car design and stumbling onto this website almost by accident was like awesome! I could finally share my designs with others that had the same interests . Ever since then CCS has been my most favorite website and I visit just about everyday.

Hard to believe some of us have been here over half a decade.

I only became a member of CSS a couple of years ago, but I've been reading the boards since 2004 and it is completley different now.

It's a shame we don't see so much of the old faces anymore, but the site is still alive and kicking and I'll continue to visit daily.

as far a I know the1 was a member of the old old old arborwood forums where the forum started so he is an oldtimer when it comes to sign up date.

knicks logged in last in april, so maybe he just moved on or is too busy with other things.

Andre logged in last in november of this year, 29th, so he lurks, but does not post, he is quite busy as far as I know.

Santeno's last visit was well over a year ago - 07-09-2009, so he probably moved on.

DSC-OFF is around, as is superfresa, but he rarely posts.

this probably means I will have to do a shuffle of the mods and admins, meaning add some more
