Default $#!T Ton of Snow on the way for S.E. Wisconsin
Just a heads up. It looks like all of Southern Wisconsin with get hit with a lot of snow over the next couple of days. I live in Kenosha and those are the weather reports that I check. From what I can see we are looking at 8-12" of snow by Wednesday afternoon.

Be safe and drive accordingly.

Also may want to check your plow trucks, snow-throwers, and salt supply to make sure you will be able to rediscover your driveway and/or sidewalks.

I have to drive mine with the performance tires until the end of school on the 18th. Then I'm gonna get the good ol' ford ranger fired back up for the winter

Now they are saying the lake may save us from some snow in Kenosha. Nobody knows.

I sure hope it is light though. I have to work Tuesday and Wednesday night. Driving home at midnight in a blizzard kinda sucks. Been there done that. Luckily the neon has been put away for about a month now, but the flip side of the coin is my other vehicle is a RWD Dakota. I'll be slipping and sliding all over the road, and not in a good way. lol Oh well, at least I have enough ground clearance to keep myself from getting high centered in 3" of snow. I drove the neon for 1/2 of a winter and learned my lesson.

Only time will tell what kind of snow we will actually get. Keep your fingers crossed.

Looks like we will be getting some up north here also. Just put my Michelin X-Ice 2 tires on the SXT today. I was holding off since winter took so long to get here. Not that I'm complaining about that as I absolutely hate winter!!!

The snow

I'm Gonna Wreak it

Snowing like crazy here right now. The Allstate building we plow in Cross Plains just shut down (at five). They have never closed the doors in the six years that they have been there.

We have a ton of slush in Kenosha. It's actually raining right now. The lake is saving us again. We won't be so lucky tomorrow, but for now at least it seems I will be able to make it home tonight.

Yep, Kenosha seems to be getting the least snow, but a lot of ice....right now my driveway looks like an ice rink

Drive safe everyone, and look out for those 4wd idiots who think they can drive super fast and then realize they cant stop.

well the snow didnt get wreaked by me. IT wreaked me. 15 inches of wet heavy SHIT. Threw my truck with three thousand pounds of salt in it around like a kid with a tonka truck in a sand box. First thing in the morning one of our workers totaled a boss 9'2 V plow. Shortly after we got a backup plow on a spring broke. Everyone and there second cousin three times removed was calling for plowing, as if we didnt have enough to do. Got stuck only once which was surprising to me since i could barley make it on unplowed roads. But anyway i went out at ten last night just got home. 5 ish. gonna get some sleep and go out around ten again to get everything cleaned up. Gotta love wisconsin

Kenosha may have lucked out last time, but we are getting hammered as I type. The latest reports are saying we are to get about 1.5 inches every hour until about 3am. Wind gusts up to 30mph, and visibility as low as 1/4 mile.

Kenosha is in a snow emergency and there is a winter weather warning until 6am tomorrow.

If you don't have it drive in this crap; DON'T!!!

Be ready for some rough roads tomorrow and long commute times.

Be safe and remember to watch out for the idiots.
