Default Why cant I get a guy
kleen, belive me I'm in a similar situation..although, I WAS married. That..well..it didn't end so well. I've been single for just shy of a year..and it's killing me. While I have a prospect in line..she's bailing for Idaho for at least 6-7mo's which is even worse. Now, not only do I NOT get to attempt a relationship..I don't even get to see her. Let's look at it this way...you can be single and lonely sometimes, or married and miserable...but I'm biased, she left me for a guy with a '98 V6 Mustang.

some people will hate this analogy because its dane cooks, but it works so well

Relationships... when your not in one its like walking past this huge party. And it just so happens that its raining out as your walking past.

BUT when your in one, your like "wheres my fucking jacket!!!?!?! i've been at this party for three years, i want to see that other party!!"

hmm.. it was alot funnier when he said it...

What's with all the Mustang bashing, geez!!!

I am a stand alone asshole, my car has nothing to do with my assholeishness!!!

But yeah, who would drive a V6 RWD ANYTHING. It could have been worse, it could have been a Camaro guy!!!!! Think positive!!!!

mmmmm....good point. They are worse than 98% of mustang guys, plus they have mullets.

The ONLY V6RWD I would ever consider buying is a 350. Nothing else...ever.

NO WAY!!! That title definatly belongs to the Honda Civic. I mean at least Mustangs (GT's anyway) are made to be sports cars. Civics are made to be, well, Civics.

Now everyone chime in with "well I have a friend who has a friend with a 10 second Civic, which are about as rare as Bigfoot, although lots have people have seen him to, lol!!! At least there are LOTS of 10 second Mustangs around. Hell, there's 3 up on the HWY almost every weekend. That never run anyone, so I really don't know why they even go up there, lol!!!

And Greg, at least you can seperate Bob the asshole from Bob's an asshole because he drives a Mustang!! oh, well i was mostly referring to the Camaro part... but yeah.. LOL

I know no 10 second civics, nor would i exactly respect one much... I like mustangs more than civics, but (and im just putting it out there) not every civic out there is trying to be cool, or fast. alot of them i see are genuine DD's.

Im also just putting this out there - Most of the HS girls i knew back in HS wanted a mustang JUST to have a mustang. They went nuts over this guy when he got a bone stock base model v6 stang.... Which pissed off the fastest guy in the whole school (me)

so, in short, a high percentage of people get them because they are "cool" and "fast", but really, they know shit about cars and dont care if its not fast because ITS A MUSTANG!!!! OMGLOLROFLBBQ!!!!

i think i got of track of my origonal thoughts.. oops.

sorry to hijack, Kleen...

-Uhhh ohhh. We are not going to start a "dating" section are we?-

Just messing with you kleen. I know how it can be, but the thing is most people want what they don't have. Everybody has those days where no matter what, they just are not happy with where they are....just don't go and jump into something with someone that is not going to care. Getting into a relationship just for the sake of "being with someone" is not worth the time. You would look back one day and have to start a new thread: "Why Didn't You Guys Warn Me About This Guy?".

p.s. In hindsight, maybe you are intimidating. You are pretty open and straight forward. -Heh- I know a lot of guys that would be scared by that (not that it is a bad thing, but not the most usual of circumstances). I have a friend that has 3 rules about dating.

1) Must be within 3 years of age of him

2) Must be "gurlie" (meaning the type of girl i would look at, but not talk to)

3)Must NOT drive a faster car than his.

-from the looks of things, you would break AT LEAST one of those-

p.p.s. sorry about the Novel

Lies! You're pretty outgoing. DEFINATELY not intimidating though.

-Wait, wasn't I supposed to put your box full of wrx heads in your car tonight? Damn it, you ARE forgetful.

Don't let kleen fool you, she's got a few guys here in Madison stalking her, they're just not GOOD ENOUGH for kleen.

Like last weekend she was at my work hanging out with me and one of my customers (messycan) pulled me aside and told me how beautiful he thought she was and asked me to get her number for him. I almost gave it to him, but kleen probably would have lit my cavalier on fire, and I JUST got that sweet turn signal mod (the hyper-blinker).

Don't mind that fact that the dudes WIFE?!?!?! was right there in the store with him.

ummm terbo...? why is the blinker going nuts? did you burn out a bulb mayhaps? No, he replaced the bulb. It doesnt seem to be getting enough voltage or something like that.... he works with electronics so hes pretty smart in that area... not sure exactly what the results were, we'll have to see what he says. I know Cavaliers pretty well, and sometimes on the rear turn signals, there is a jump in the circuit causing it to burn a bulb a week. All you have to do is just bend the tab on the replacement bulp so it holds tightly, and keeps constant connection.

It happens a lot on 00-02 cavaliers.
