Considering the pre-auction hype pegged this sale at $8 million+, I'd say the owners were probably a bit disappointed :-/ If only they'd "discovered" it two years ago...

Yeah no kidding. Its a nice number and all, but sort of low when everyone was expecting it to go for as much as twice that.

I love "barn finds" , wasn't expecting this one to be sold so soon, I was hoping the people who inherited would do something to it prior to auction it. Guess they weren't into cars huh?

indeed if it was found 2 years ago would have sold for a lot more, or they could have waited and sold it later on to make more money
