Scary thing..

Plymouth something. Smellt like normal paint..

Yvonne Mostard

The purple Caddy looked the best. In paint and as in model. The other 50s cars are way too overdesigned. They are just funny to look at..

Haha, it's so hard for me to imagine a gathering of classic Americana in a European country. Those cars must look like spaceships. Cool event, though. Nice pics.

Ahura those are awesome photos!! Thanks for sharing!!
DoMiNo actually during my trips to Amsterdam i felt they must have, in total, more American cars (mostly new) than any other European market i have been to...is this really the case Ahura of was it just my impression? They where still far less in numbers than European/Japanese/Korean but still...
Lately in my country American cars are also increasing in numbers, mostly Jeeps,Hummers(unfortunately),a few Cadillacs, a couple of Mustangs and F-series trucks (the Harley Davidson editions) etc

That's cool. I've noticed a lot of Jeeps in Europe, particularly in the UK, where the Cherokee and Grand Cherokee seem to have a decent reputation. When I was in Madrid I was a couple blocks from a Chrysler-Jeep dealer and saw my fair share of 300s driving around (all diesels, no doubt). There was also the occasional Hummer, Mustang, and Cadillac--as you said--as well as a Corvette I saw a few times. Still, American cars were rare enough to be a novelty; they actually had a Mustang GT on the showroom floor of the Ferrari-Maserati dealer, which I thought was kind of funny.

Interesting that you're seeing Harley edition F-series trucks. A bizarre vehicle to import, I must say.

Bizarre is the new trend here apparently, lol. You know, rich young people with a lot of money to invest towards impression games.

Yeah most of them where 300C's although i don't remember noticing any Taxi signs! As i said compared to the number of European (and other) cars American vehicles where not that many but still I saw more of them there than in, let's say, London or Athens or Stuttgart

If those pics where from your mobile phone then those are even more impressive!
