I'm quite eclectic. Two genres I hate: men with overly breathy vocals (think Daughtry and all similar permutations the worst of which slur their vocals to the point that they are incoherent) and female singers who constantly sing runs to "prove" how talented they are when in reality they probably can't hold a candle to Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight, Tina Turner, Joni Mitchell, Karen Carpenter. I also DESPISE the American Idol "winner" songs. One season it's "This is my time my time is now now is my time my time is now" and the next season is "Is this my time? Is this my now? If this is my now, is this my time? If this is my time, is this my now?"

Mellowdrone is a pretty cool artist for driving music... I got them a while back from a Nissan Maxima commercial (esp. Oh My & Beautiful Day)

Don't Go- Starting Rock
Obsessed With You- The Orion Experience
Queen of White Lies- The Orion Experience
I Love My Sex- Benny Benassi
Nice- Chris Brown
Bounce- Timbaland
She Wants to Move- N.E.R.D.
Does This Mean You're Moving On?- The Airborne Toxic Event
Closer- Ne-Yo
Flashing Lights- Kanye West
4 Minutes- Madonna & Justin Timberlake
Stronger- Kanye West
The Way I Are- Timbaland
Paralyzer- Finger Eleven
Go Girl- Pitbull

I have a playlist on my iPod just for driving songs and those r just a few of my favorites on it

Today the sun has been shining, and I had 'Baby D' on in the car. It made for an excellent journey that brought back memories from 1994 when Baby D were big. They were a dance act that had rootes in Rave music. The (female) singer had an excellent voice and the tunes were (and still are) euphoric. Lots of Piano, big bass, drum and bass style beats and cool synths.
