I was googling E92 3-series spy shots, and CSS was one of the links. At the time I was 12(?) and this site was on the proboards2 platform. I lurked for a few months, then joined, then I forgot my account info so I made a new account once the new site was launched. I've always considered myself very knowledgeable when it came to cars, but this site has increased my knowledge so much!

I joined because I wanted to find out about all the new models coming up. The organisation of the threads into sections meant it was easy to find what I wanted and the members were a good bunch too.
I don't post much now because I find it is quite an odd forum - all the forums I am a member of have their quirks but this is quite heavily moderated. I remember sending a message to one of the mods because I clicked on a link in the photoshops thread and it redirected me to a porn picture... The reply wasn't too great. (I suppose this will be edited too - oh the irony!)

More moderation is better than none at all, which unfortunately seems to be the case at a lot of other forums. Which is, frankly, why I prefer to stick with this one. And I say that despite having my fair share of run-ins with the mods over the years :P

Goopd mods, good mature people. None of the flaming and spam posts. And probably the biggest car forum for Spyshots anyway. I prefer it over PSU and CDN for designs and photoshops, because here people understand what you were trying ti do, while over there they're all big-headed imo.

i had no idea what a carspyshot was ,so i googled the term.(the old layout was cool too) I came here for the scoops.and i use to read everything. now i don't,really not how i use too. and I use to skim the design area but I rely on CDN to help build my designing skills. sooo yea thats it.
coming here is sorta a habit now. but I don't really look at anything anymore...

I'm trying to stay off the web...breath some fresh air, sketch with ease and without pressure like I use too...clear my head some you know....

HM. I used to post on Car and Driver Forums (most jacked up crap ever -____- so many trolls and numbskulls), and they always had links directing here. So i joined CSS and pretty much abandoned C/D.
