Hummer is here, and I can't see many people (apart from Wayne Rooney or other footballers with more money than sense) buying one.
Here's the article from autocar.co.uk it has a very funny pic!!!!!!!!!!! http://www.autocar.co.uk/News/...8328/ Modified by classic_saab_man at 11:57 AM 10/3/2007 |

GM should think about Diesels to the Hummer line. This goes for North America to. Definatley. If there was a diesel engine offered then the H3 might do well here. As for the H2 and H1.. far too big for our narrow roads. Though i suppose you could just drive over anything that gets in your way lol. |

Oh that thing.
Saw it at the Melbourne Motor show. I think everyone I went with agreed that it was the stupidest car on the show. inside its cheap and tacky, and not roomy at all. Awkward, considering its wider than a Toyota Land Cruiser 100. Stupidest car ever. Its not like its capable, relatively speaking. |

All windows are high and narrow. I know someone with one, he's gone through 3 to 4 feet+ of water without issue. So much water inside that the door speakers needed to be replaced. Still rocken. |

Water shouldn't fuss a Hummer, nor should dessert crossing or open field offroading. Dont take it on mud though. And forget the rocks. Anywhere where its axles have to flex, Hummers become comparatively clumsy. I dont know why I'm saying this. You probably know more about them and about offroading than I do, but thats just my observation. |

I believe the british are known for such vehicles. Can we say Land Rover, Rolls Royce, Bentley, etc.? All of these long before they were acquired by outside companies. |

Hummer in the UK? What a seriously DUMB idea and a BAD timing! People driving a Hummer in Europe right now will be the equivalent of how a witch was viewed in the medieval times: burn baby burn!! Seriously guys, even LR is scared despite their awesome high-tech diesel engines and yet Hummer hopes it will score a few hits in the UK? Hmmmm...

This is funny, i have seen 3-4 Hummers in my city but i always assumed they were direct imports. I was wrong, a few days back i saw an add in the newspaper from the official dealerships of Hummer which also sell Corvettes and Cadillacs. They were looking for new sales people but unfortunately they only got one dealership and it is located in a different city. Apart from that the idea of taking potential customers on a test drive brings shivers down my spine! The roads here are not THAT big compared to the US and heavy traffic is always an issue so..no thanks!

GM should think about Diesels to the Hummer line. This goes for North America to. According to Motortrend,, GM has a 4.5 liter turbodiesel that they will debut next year in the Silverado/Sierra half ton, as well as tahoe (and all variants) and the H2. |

Also, the H1 is no longer for sale. |
