Default Gas prices...

It was actually a mess-up; the other side of the sign said 3.51 instead.

Looks like it, but I wouldn't be surprised if you had told me this wasn't.
What struck me first was 3.29 for regular, isn't that considered inexpensive nowadays, especially in CA?

I paid 3.39 for premium today in California. Gas prices have come down 20 cents a gallon since their high locally.

Wow, location is everything. I complained about having to fill up for 2.79 yesterday.
What gets me though, is that you still have people who insist on driving their fullsize SUV, even though the biggest thing in the car is usually a Venti Coffee from Starbucks. Then they complain about the gas mileage. I recognize that this is somewhat of a blanket statement, but how many people take their Escalades, LX470's, and Range Rovers off road? Honestly...

I am an advocate for driving a 10mpg vehicle if one wants to so long as one doesn't throw a hissy fit at gas prices. It's no one's business what anyone chooses to drive, but also relatively no one has an interest in listening to people whine when their short-sightedness vehicular decisions get the best of them. I'll happily drive my Mustang GT at $6.00 a gallon, though I'd probably drive a Hyundai Accent during the week at that price point.

Yeah, I really don't have a problem with people who own big SUVs. But when I hear them complaining about gas prices, I just want to slash their tires and punch them in the faces.

Wow your gas prices are really that low? In my area they're holding steady at $3.35-$3.40. Last week I paid $3.53 per gallon of regular.

Yeah, shockingly, the prices are pretty low here. And that Chevron has no competing stations near it, so they could theoretically charge astronomical prices. Even the gas at Costco was more expensive. Oo"

Yeah, we fill up at Sam's Club. It was down even further today. My Dad said he filled the Camry for $2.73 a gallon. If we lived in a place where gas was $3+, I'm telling you right now I wouldn't be driving to school everyday. I could suffer on the bus to save that kind of money.

On the Indian reservations here in NM the prices are slightly lower than in town. I paid $3.32 for premium yesterday. CostCo is probably around the same. Gas prices seem to have dropped ever so slightly in the past few weeks.

Yeah, I hope the high point of this year is behind us. Filled up for $2.97 today, the first time it's been below $3 since mid-April.

Man do I envy all of you. Same as its been for the last month or so, the prices here in Illinois (around $3.35 for regular) are still the highest. Maybe I should start walking to work.................

the costco next to me doesnt do gas, but the Bjs like 2 minutes down the road does, and its relatively cheaper than the "Big Guys". its usually about 4 to 6 cents cheaper per gallon which isnt much as you are only saving a little more than a buck or so, but its still cheaper. ah i remember when that Bj's first opened like 5-6 years ago they had gas for a buck 13. good times, good times...

Hm, cheapest I've seen is in a neighboring city, which was 2.75 at dillions.
The lowest gas in my town is 2.88 at several locations.
I don't see why people complain so much about gas prices, yeah it's expensive, but what's so bad about putting like $30 in and coming back next week or so?

lol you guys think gas is expensive?
1.02-1.05 i think here, or abouts there
so about 0.93-0.95 US per litre, uhm not sure what the US gallon is, 3.5 litres?
if it is, then that is 3.25-3.32 per gallon.
we hit 1.29 in the middle of may, so 1.17 US per litre or 4.10 per gallon. not sure what plus and supreme were, but not cheap. and costco also has gas here, cheaper than regular stations as well, always a good bargain.

Well, I don't see why Americans should be complaining about gas prices anyway. It's more expensive in Asia and Europe.
