R8 with a V10 or higher. nothing is certain yet, except that an RS8 exists.

Says who? Could be the rumored R10.

oh i meant the car exists. we dont know the name yet, just that an R8 with a V10 or higher is being tested. R10 wouldnt be bad name if it was a V10.

For the record, wouldn't the name RS8 imply a higher-end version of the S8 sedan, like the RS4 to the S4? I think Audi will call it something else; comrade's "R10" suggestion makes sense.

yeah, wouldn't be unrecognizable if it wasn't aluminum. But it's not like they could save it if it wasn't...
As for the name; there are also rumors of R9 (which I like the sound of even better) because R10 could cause confusion with the race-car. It could also be the answer to why Audi skipped R9 and went from R8 to R10 for the racecar names.

I know! Where did it go?! I don't think it would burn up? Only in case of an explosion.
