I was all for the Broncs but I have a friend who's a huge Steelers fan, so I figure I'll just root for them. Really, these are two teams I care little about.

Ha. You gotta' love Michigan weather! (I am in Michigan right now going to school). As I'm typing this, a huge snowstorm is rolling its' pretty little self through the area. Predicted snowfall is between 4 and 9 inches between today and tomorrow, so its going to be one snowy Superbowl.

Ditto here...love the weather over the lakes. Good thing it's indoors - let it snow

I'm to the West of Detroit and the snow is getting pretty heavy. The roads are really bad, so I hope that Detroit can keep up with it.

I'm not usually a fan of the Steelers, but since Jerome Bettis is from Detroit, the game is in Detroit, and this could very well be his final season, I would really like to see them win it. Plus I am a Panthers fan who is disapointed with their performance in Seattle and would like to see the Seahawks go down for our sake.

Nodnarb, you make a great point about the bus from mo-town and I hope the best to both teams. Whichever team wins, this will be a great game. A few buddies are coming over - defn. some cookout pregame and our own "superbowl" in the back yard The weather here is supposed to be nice, unusually warmer than normal. We haven't even had a winter season yet other than a few days. Believe it or not, I am actually wishing for some snow around here - grew up in the cold and snow
Anyway, I am psyched...ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL
Let's get it on

Ditto...i think U2 should have played because they're have some of the best Super Bowl performances. Well, at least there's the commercials to look forward to!

Give each team an extra field goal and you would've been right. And what a deserving bunch to win.

Congrats to both teams for being in the SuperBowl, and to Pitt for the big win...they deserved the win, especially for local guys from Mo-Town.
That said, what a sloppy game it was, so uninteresting to watch. Been a die-hard football (and sports) fan since I was very young, I had always been looking foward to the superbowl, every year, but this year's was disappointing, to least the least.
Even most the commercials were tasteless, in my opinion. All of the car ads were so-so (I guess I had higher expectations ). The best for me would have to be the pepsi commercial where the stunt in the movie was coke, that was just so funny...lol

OMG who saw that Ridgeline commercial it wasn't that funny but just that it was a Ridgeline made it hilarious I started dying!!!!!!
I also really liked the Toyota Tacoma one, the GoDaddy.com, and Hummer H3.

Gah! Why oh why? What happened to my Seahawks?
It was all going well till the end of the third quarter with that holding call. It all went downhill from there.
