I've taken the old one (to see if I qualify for JHU's CTY program) and the new one, as well as the ACT. And frankly, the ACT was probably the best of all three becuase it was a lot more straightforwards (none of that "stupid shade the part of the square that excludes the circle and then ask you to find the circumference" crap) and had "correct" answers that were actually correct for the Reading section.
But of course, the fact that my percentile for the ACT was dramatically higher than that of my SAT's isn't why I like the ACT better.
