Don't recall ever seeing a list with all ratios, especially with the rate of new cars that come on the market. Generally speaking, the higher the ratio, the quicker the car, and higher the power, although with some exceptions.
What's the requirement of your project? I would think selection of cars at both extreme and those exceptions should be sufficient, correct?? Of course, I would also add comparisons, relationships, and all of the other good stuff

the project is just a report 3-5 pages double spaced 12 point font.
i am doing the history of sports cars.
i have planned and some already completed as such
intro paragraph
basic history
history of materials used
and the history of the technologys that have been used.

im right in the middle of that second paragraph and just needed something to see which car is the lowest
all i needed was a fact so if anybody has at least the lowest power to weight ratio just lemme know
im: theriddla07
pm me
email me: thekid8907@yahoo.com
just remember to list who you are in each so i know who you are :P
thanks

Few off the top of my head, I don't have the exact specs so these are aprrox.
911 GT2 - under 7lbs/hp
Viper - about the same as 911 GT2
Enzo - under 5lbs/hp
Mclaren F1 - under 4lbs/hp
Lots of bikes and track cars have even lower ratio, but I'm assuming you are only talking about production vehicles.

I don't know the numbers off the top of my head, but you should probably check out the Ariel Atom, Radical, and possibly Lotus Exige. Good luck!

Why in God's name could you possibly need to go that far in depth for a 3-5 page 8th grade report? Your teacher's gonna be like "Whaaa??"

oh so you're in 8th grade? J/K lol
I think the fastest cars naturally also have the lowest power to weight ratios, so check these:
Bugatti Veyron
McLaren F1
Koenigsegg CCR*
Pagani Zonda
Porsche Carrera GT
that Noble sports car
TVR Sagaris? etc.
