Sharing a hard drive isn't the best way to go about this. Just share your documents and settings folder by using the process Ascariss described, it will be a lot quicker than sharing the entire drive.

If you have a server, you could save the pictures onto the "Z" drive

Which version of windows do the computers have ?
If you have XP or Windows 2000, you must do these steps on both computers, (I suppose you want to see all of the files of the other computer and you want to do this from both of them).
1 : Right click On "My Computer", (Either From Start menu if you have XP, or from desktop if you have 2000).
2 : Select "Properties".
3 : Click "Computer Name" Tab.
4 : Make sure the workgroup is the same on both computers, (I suppose it is as you can share your printer).
5 : Close the system properties.
6 : Open "My Computer"
7 : Right click on 1st Hard Disk.
8 : Select "Sharing and Security"
9 : If you have XP, click on the "If you understand the risk but still want to share the root of the drive, click here"
10 : Enable the selection "Share this folder on the network".
11 : If there is no share name in the text box, then write the name of the HDD in that.
12 : If you want to have the capability to change the files from the other computer, then enable the selection "Allow network users to change my files".
13. Press "Apply" and then "OK"
14. Repeat the steps 7-13 for every HDD you have on the computer.
Do the same steps from the other computer.

All I really what to share between computers are pictures and documents or be able to play games between computers.

Umm I know but, heck, I don't know how this option's called in English version of Windows. Hey, Ascariss, what's the English name for "Otoczenie sieciowe"? RepoMan, you have to put files there...

I have the exact same setup at home.
>Right click on the C Drive (or whatever hard drives you have). Go to Properties>Sharing and choose your options. Do this for both the computers, you can do this for any folder.
The folders should appear in my network places on both computers, transfer files that way. For printers, use the 'LAN/ home network' wizard are choose share printers, sorry, I forget most of this.
Should work now, good luck!

Default Computer question
I have 2 computers in my home and have a wireless LAN. I have it set up to share printers but I want to be able to access pictures and other files on the other computer. How do I do that? or can I? any help would be appreciated.

Actually once the PCs are on the network, in explorer, right click on a directory or drive and select sharing, it should be there, and then select your options.

If you don't want to share the entire HDD then share individual folders. But, inside a home enviroment/network, you don't have problems of vulnerabilities. Anyway, I would suggest to manualy put the ip's on both computers, in order to no computer in the network play the role of the dhcp controller. Another question is if you want to share an internet connection to the network or not.
