This is what I posted at the old CSS board - slightly modified here:
Hey members:
Many of you might have noticed that CSS is moving to a new forum, a better one! Maybe you have also noticed, after viewing the new board, lots of threads are not currently up-to-date, including many missing ones.
The admins have done a lot just to get the new forum up and running, obviously they wouldnt have all the time and energy to transfer every single of the current threads onto the new board. I'd like to ask all members to pitch in and help.
Here are few easy simple steps where we can make this moving transition go smoothly:
1. (Re)-Register - http://www.carspyshots.net/
2. Get comfortable with the new board (this one)
2. Move a thread from the old forum over to the new board (to this one)
3. Link the old thread here in the new thread, so that members can refer back to past posts
4. Once finished, back to the old thread. From there, submit a quick post, something like "please continue discussions (provide the link to the new thread from the new forum) - this way everyone will know which threads have been moved over and which have not)
That's all I have. Please make additional suggestions as you feel necessary, to make this transition as smooth as possible for everyone. WE CAN DO THIS

Sorry to hear that, please give my regards. Take all the time you need and we'll try our best to make the transition go well. So far so good...thanks for all your efforts, along with other admins, for getting this new site up

Thank you Knicks for ALL the help and "taking command"
This past week I have been hard hit by a family crisis and today was one of the two days spent in the hospital, the last being last Thursday. Seeing this take flight was a real treat!! Thank you all!

My 8 year old girl cursed out a Nurse who didn't get the IV in the right spot, she wasn't thrilled being back there and being poked again
I've said to everyone whome I've told the story... I swear I didn't teach her this...

"If you don't stop poking me with that damn thing and get it right I'm gonna kick your ass"
then moving on to
"The paper goes right there, ok, and the needle needs to go here at a 45 degree angle. Was that so Damn hard?" (She's been in multiple times over the last year)
anyway, once agian, thanks, we'll try to think up a way to thank you all, especialy you Knicks, you've done a load of help
