Oh look Vettel thrashed everyone AGAIN lol....
This is getting tedious similar to schumacer.... I wonder why there is always one driver that is consistantly so much better then all the others... The whole season is a bit boring now as it is basically already concluded the results.... Roll on next season tbh... Hopefully hamilton will do better... |

I'm glad Massa got the penalty, not Hamilton. Sick of seeing the car trying to make a pass, getting turned in on, and then getting penalised as well. Massa knew he was there.
It's like rear ending someone on the road, it would always be the person behinds fault, unless the person in front intensionally slams on and causes the collision, or in this case, turns in. |

Worst race this year by a long shot. Layout of the track looks OK but sector two is too narrow and the wide parts of the track in the braking zone were too dusty off the line to make any kind of serious passing attempt. They knew it was a problem beforehand and it was proven during practice. Why didn't they do anything about it? We saw this kind of thing at Korea as well. This is fundamental for an F1 race track, it's not a rally. NOT GOOD ENOUGH.
As for Hamilton/Massa to me it was a racing incident and nothing more. No one deserved to get a penalty except for Hermann Tilke, too narrow into that section of track. Doesn't leave much room for anyone, if they are going to make it that narrow they need to get rid of the gravel. I'd prefer the gravel bordering the track but the track wide enough for two cars to enter the corner. Still it doesn't really matter when there is so much dirt on the track it's almost impossible to pass anywhere except on the straights with DRS. Without DRS we probably wouldn't have seen any passes in the last 50 laps. This track really has to deliver next year. As it is currently I wouldn't mind if they took it off the calendar and replaced it with an oval track. Also another thing that ruined it was the fact that Narain was obviously too focused on the fans and not the cars lapping him. How many times were close battles ruined by him all the way through the field? I'm not even sure it's worth tuning in for Abu Dhabi. Another Tilke borefest. [cursing] |

Hamilton and Massa DESPISE each other lol....
Its a shame that F1 is getting more and more tame to the point it is going severely downhill as a sport..... They are supposedly making the sport "green" over the next few years and using smaller V6 engines etc.... "green" formula 1 is the most absurd thing I have ever heard tbh.... Bring back 1990-1998 when they had those absolute beast V12 cars and minimal driving aids tbh, |

Yeah I loved the days when it was V8 vs V10 vs V12. The V10 were always ahead of the competition though. The reason why Williams was so good was the Renault V10. The Cosworth V8 wasnt up to the task, thats why McLaren was trailing, and Benetton switched to Renault in 95. |

And in the old days, suspension design and, particularly, aerodynamics were something of a black art, that was poorly understood.
Back then, different vehicles had different strengths and weaknesses but the gap between the best and worst was huge. Heck, in that period it wasn't uncommon for the leader to lap everyone up to fourth or fifth. |

Shame about that tbh....
I mean seriously what actual difference other then PR is making F1 "green" going to have? ..... Is making the car engines greener / hybrid / slower etc... going to have ANY impact on the environment for a few hours of racing once a week?! NO!.... it is a silly PR exercise which just makes the sport more and more boring until it may as well just be scalextrix cars going round.... probably some large corporations put out more pollution in a week then the entire sport of F1 has put out in the last 10 years.... Silly tbh... |

Hamilton and Massa DESPISE each other lol.... I'd rather have F1 as it is now tbh, where 8/10 races are exciting, rather than the processions we used to have. F1 has always been at the forefront of car technology, and these days that means becoming greener. There's no way it could have stayed as it was, and I'm willing to bet most people won't notice any difference. |

Hamilton and Massa DESPISE each other lol.... Also there are no driving aids, the current cars require more work to drive well than the old cars. The current cars have more power and grip and are built more with driver safety in mind, but the drivers need to take over most of the role the computer held when it comes to changing car set up on the track. Saying the cars of the 90's had minimal driving aids is a complete joke. |
