Dear god, if he'd hit that Roll Royce... he'd never have seen his future self in the second movie.

Edit: I forgot he was in the truck when that drag race was offered to him. My bad, not seen the movies for years.

Wow, I was always told they were piss poor when I was a kid. My mates dad told me it would struggle to hit 88mph.

You're a Yellow Belly, what back to the future taught me was that for the good of mankind it's always best to respond when someone calls you a chicken.

Sure he would have crashed into that Rolls but had he succumbed to the taunts at any stage of BTTF, Biff would be leader of the world and Doc would be shot in the back.

The top speed of a dmc-12 is somewhere between 120 and 130mph.

They would struggle to hit 88mph except in the quarter mile drag race.

A guy was selling one down here for NZ$35k (about US$27k) - don't know what they were going for in the US or Ireland, though.

You can buy them brand new too now. A company bought out the entire DMC warehouse so they have tons of NOS parts to build new deloreans from.
