Sounds like a load of crap to me. You absolutely don't need 5 guys for that job, as others have said it's a 2 man operation usually. If you guys already set the wheels in motion I would just take the hit this time rather than losing their business in the future, but I definitely would set up some kind of standard with your account manager for next time.
