Hello,
I have a final piece of coursework for my Civil Engineering degree and it requires me to obtain a map of a specified region, and identify points of interest such as SSSI (Sites of Special Scientific Interest) and other important environmental, ecological, and social aspects. I need it to be quite a large map (Printed on A3 and readable as I will be writing and drawing things on it). I am currently resorting to http://www.natureonthemap.naturalengland.org.uk and copying and pasting the maps onto paint. Drag to another section, copy and paste, rinse and repeat. This is quite slow as the section of map it shows is rather small. I was wondering if there was an easier way of doing this. A program to do this in a simpler way or a website where I could get my hands on large map. The region i am after is Forest Heath District in the UK, near Norwich, if that helps at all. Thanks to all who decide to give me a hand with this ![]() |
