And there will still be someone here who's had hotter, and enjoyed it.
Not me, though, I can't stand even mild chillis but love hot english mustard...

WTF. The BBC needs to check their news sources. The Naga Viper is quite a bit hotter than that thing.

I have eaten a chunk out of a Dorset Naga for a bet when I was drunk.

I can not describe the pain I was in. But I'll try. Initially it has as nip as you bite in, you can feel a tingle on your lips and an almost fruity aftertaste. Then, the experience starts about 10 seconds later. Your throat, mouth, and cheeks start to feel like they have been blow torched from the inside out, the physical pain starts at 'very f**king painful' and rises to 'someone please remove my head and innards, I don't want to live any more'.

It went on for about literally 25 minutes, I couldn't see, all my brain could do was try it's best to hold onto what little sanity was available. I visited a void that night, pain that I've never and will never experience again. It was like childbirth on LSD.

Never......EVER.....again.

I took a teaspoon of this sauce called Satan's Sh1t at Masterchef live that had a similar effect LB. It was amazing and dreadful at the same time. I think it was 1.25m scovilles according to their site, which may be an exaggeration but it was painful.

There is definitely a hallucinogenic, almost euphoric experience enshrouding the utter horror. I imagine it's a taste of what death is actually like.

I can imagine. I ate a whole habenero once, and it hurt like hell...and that's only a fraction of the heat of the more intense peppers!

I think the worst thing for me is it made me have something close to a panic attack wondering what the f*ck was happening to me.

I'd eat it again though.

yeah it kept reaching new levels of pain, levels where you thought it was impossible to go any higher, then it did, repeatedly. I was actually starting to get genuinely scared at one point. What a f**king tit.

The hottest thing I've tried is Dave's Insanity Sauce (which is pretty mild compared to a lot of others) and I spent about 30 minutes thinking that hospitalisation was imminent.

This was my feeling. I was preparing for death. I quite literally asked the missus if she knew where my will was!

I love hot stuff.

The sad part is that my stomach doesn't and the feeling of hot chili on your ass crack isn't nice...

Anyway, jpr is crazy with this stuff.

As they say, "it doesn't matter how hot it is going in, it's always hotter coming out..."

You do know Johnny Cash wrote a song about it?
