Come to think of it, I'm VERY glad we don't have snow like that here in Australia. The RTA (and other road traffic authorities) would go crazy with red light camera's etc and the police would be all over it too. Just imagine the revenue.

Please check your tires. They do make a huge difference. If people would just be properly get equipped for this weather, slow down and don't brake hard, it would be a lot safer out there on the road.

On my S10 and Cherokee I put on On/Off Road tires. How would these kind of tires compare to using winter tires on snow/ice on the road? I can't find any videos.

Can't really comment on those crash videos. They all seems to be driven with summer tires. Here we get a ticket if police catches anyone without winter tires. And all other drivers will call the driver an idiot.

A bit off the topic video. Fastests on ice. I'm sure they used good tires, eventhough nice feat. At that speed you dont need to do much to go out of control.
