You're allowed to drink alcohol in Qatar. Only a few Islamic countries forbid alcohol. In Abu Dhabi there was an absolute piss-up after the F1 race.

At least after the 2022 World Cup, Qatar will have some cracking stadiums to stone women in.

Well, come to think of it the Qatar Stars League (Biggest football league there) could become pretty big. With all those millon/billionares the clubs could sign anyone with £300,000/week etc, maybe will get special permission to enter into the champions league also with some brides.

They're going to build air conditioned stadiums to combat the heat.
which is great when you are in the stadium... but what about when you are not. In the summer, 130 degrees and nothing but sand doesn't sound too appealing. Not to mention, no whores. What is a world cup without whores. Maybe everyone will be all whored out from the russian one.

They could maybe import some whores from Russia?

Only when you see their Swiss bank accounts!
Corruption, pure and simple, and as there isn't any way to penalise them for it, it'll keep on happening!

Australia only got 1 vote to for 2022, while Qatar 13!

Despite it being more expensive to go down under people would at least have stuff to do there instead of baking in the middle of a desert.

He acts like it though! (Towards England anyway) But that's FIFA in general. Once upon a time English clubs where banned from European competition, (By Uefa but it's part of Fifa) but some of the other European country clubs have done some bad things also in recent times yet only get fines/warnings etc.
Hmm, that sounds a bit paranoic. I dont know what your media tells you, but here in Germany there isnt any anti England campaign going on. Of course our rivalry is pretty big, but thats on the pitch. Everyone I asked said England should have gotten the World Cup.

Oh yeah general public feel that way from all over as you say (Apart from in Russia of course)

But generally there's been an Anti England campaign from Fifa/Uefa for over 20 years now.

Yeah, seems like it, and thats pretty sad. But as you (or anyone else here in this thread) pointed out, FIFA is one f**kin' corrupt organization. And by giving a WC to Quatar they have now officially made it obvious to even the dumbest football fan.

I wonder what Qatar will do about their drink laws? I can't see a world cup that cuts out public drinking (or drunkeness) entirely going down well with fans or sponsors...
I also wonder what they'll do about the system of slavery they use. But hey, FIFA can see past those things...
