WTH that bike looks brilliant! How did you get it for $90? Looks like it would retail North of $1,000 when new.

Makes me look like a fool for paying $300 for my used Specialized Stumpjumper.

Must of had a "friend" deal, no?

Nice one.

Bet rolls nicely on the roads, gave it a proper test yet?

Thanks guys!

Yeah I lucked out, most people seem to agree that it would be worth north of $400 because of it's extremely good condition, nice campagnolo groupset and "retro" status. Actually I just went to my local bike store to get a piece of junk bike repaired and the owner offered me this thing for $90. Apparently it's been in the basement for almost 20 years, and looks to have less than 100 miles on it. Haven't given it a proper test yet, just glued the tires yesterday (first foray into tubular tires...quite interesting). I did ride it to school today and boy is it stiff and fast...531 steel is the real deal, or rather WAS the real deal haha. Hopefully it will be dry this weekend so I can give it a proper ride.

Quite certain that it is the best purchase of my life.
