I know! Man it's depressing when reality hits.
I know! I rarely ever have those kinds of dreams, but I had one recently, and man I was pissed when I woke up.

It's even worse when it's just getting started and you realise it's a dream - sometimes I can get a grip and stay in the dream (which is awesome as you can control it to some extent) but other times I just start to wake up uncontrollably and can almost hear myself thinking 'NOOOOOOO'

The most vivid dream I ever had came to me one night when I was in like... second grade. It was a nightmare, to be more accurate. I had just got done watching a mildly scary documentary about vampires on TV. Keep in mind that my parents forbade me from watching anything violent at this time, and probably the worst thing I'd ever seen was He-Man tromp some bad guys.

In the dream, an old man was sleeping peacefully in his bed, which might have been in a hospital. A man in a black ski mask walks into the room and grabs the old man, throws him on the floor. As the old man sits up and faces his attacker, the man in the ski mask readies a double barreled shotgun and sticks it in the old man's mouth. Just as the old man was about to try and say something, the masked man pulled the trigger.

I woke up screaming. It was the most graphic and horrible thing I've ever seen to this day, and it came from my own damn head. I couldn't sleep for the next week, and I've never forgotten even a second of that dream. The look on the old man's face...

As long as you don't dream you're giving birth - and do a 'Spud'*

Well I dreamt I had a playstation 2 once (soon after launch) and was highly upset when I woke up and realised I didn't have one!!!

I had a dream about freerunning last night, which is good becuase it shows I'm in a good state of mind about my injury recovery. When it's not going so well I'm always weak in my dreams/can't run or jump etc but when I can freerun properly under pressure (was some weird ghetto I was in and being chased by people) I know I'm back on the right track!!!
