Take battery out and lie the phone on a desk with a desk lamp shining on it for a couple of days, leave enough distance so that it doesnt burn your desk though [yes]

Always a possibility, but its better than doing nothing. I have a digital camera that look a dive in a lake a while ago that is still going strong after letting it sit with rice for a few weeks.

As an added bonus it smells spring fresh!
