So clearly from the fact that it was both written by a woman, and is loved by women, we can infer that women love to be treated like complete **** by metrosexual self centered freaks... and they're also sluts. My ex had some Olay lotion with sparkly crap in it, I bet that's what they use in twilight... gotta moisturize.. pasty emo bastards. There's Edward, the pasty douche with a freaky nipple who treats her like crap and abandons her, and then there's Jacob the hot non-pasty well built werewolf who treats her with respect. And she chooses Edward just like a real woman would... yeah.. women make a lot of sense. Also, Dakota Fanning looks like utter crap in the movie, which blows because she's pretty awesome (no, I'm not a pedo).

True Blood is where it's at. Rough sex, gay sex, orgies, amazingly hot redheaded 17 year old vampires who will be virgins every time. I love that show. It's full of blood, violence, blood, and sex.

The "Sookie Stackhouse" books are written by a woman; The show is adapted by the same guy that did Six Feet Under...which was another gritty show.

I like True Blood.

As for all the vampire stuff; someone made a program that was popular and made a lot of money and now everyone else is doing the same in the hope of getting rich. It will continue until ratings start to slump.

I'm also a bit intrigued by it but it feels a little like Flash Forward. It will be a good start, unstable middle and then at the end it all goes wosh and they end it.
