Yeah I'd agree with this. By the sounds of things you want to move up. You've made a good start by getting a job, now convert that experience into a new job that will let you grow. Depending on the whether or not you want to be in IT, the next level up might be a help desk support guy in a company or school/university. You'll have opportunity to get your hands on things other than desktop computers and learn and grow in whichever direction you want to go in IT.
