He's pretty fair, some things he hates, asome things he loves about every country - same with cars.
He loved the new 'Vette and the blown Caddie - even if he wasn't impressed by the finish - and owned/s a Ford GT - even though it was as impractical as heck on most UK roads.
Take what he says with a pinch of salt and you'll be fine - you may also want to d/load the Lionel Ritchie episode...

The senna part was quite unexpected but presently perfectly, the best part of the show by far [yes]
Indeed.

And like i've always said.. for once they have removed most of the show-off spectacular Hollywood stunt TV and showed some serious car related footage..and it was awesome.

Loved the part about senna, but the veyron part and diaz/cruise part was nice too.
And yes..the show-off snow part earns last place

It was definitely one of the best Top Gear episodes I've seen for quite some time, in fact I'd put it up there as one of the best.

The snowmobile race was typical Top Gear but the Veyron Super Sport was awesome, Cameron and Tom were great guests and well up for a laugh, and of course the whole Senna tribute at the end was brilliant.

Really enjoyed it. [thumbup]

He also "hates" the French, Welsh and Scottish. The difference is that all of them know not to take him seriously.
Don't forget the Aussies.

Fair's fair - that's only when the aussies beat England in the rugby union or league or cricket or darts or whatever - guess that's all the time, then!

I never grew up watching racing, I always loved cars in some way or another, and until now I never heard of this guy, and to know what he did and the way he was it's amazing, getting out of his car on a formula one track... wtf you only see that in movies.

Senna was an absolute legend, and it's this rich tapestry of history which makes F1 so good.

And to be honest, as a huge F1 fan, in many ways the whole politics and intrigue which go on from behind the scenes is bigger and more important than the racing itself.

It sounds weird but F1 is almost more about what happens off the track than on it.

Apparently so. It seems like if you tried that same stuff now, you'd get black listed or something.

Check it out a bit more my man , it's hard to pick out certain races when there are just so many to choose from.

But look into the 2010 Canadian GP, along with the Belgium and British GP in 2008, it's all awesome stuff. [thumbup]

Really enjoyed the feature on Senna, not the kind of thing you normally see on the show but the quality of the clips and editing it all together was brilliant, and its good that they did since it introduces him to a generation that dont really know about him.

When Senna died my school held a moment of silence for him...now for a school to hold a moment of silence for race car driver then you know he was somebody special.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Senna segment.

I was only 9 when he died, and knew next to nothing about F1 at the time...so it was quite a treat to see such a well put together piece.
Now I have some understanding of why my father speaks so highly of Senna to this day.
