Is it really that bad?
![]() Well tbh I'm only toying with the idea... looking at the options. It's not for lack of wanting to keep the Roush, but if the combination of lack of doors, boot and isofix-base compatibility turns out to be a pain, I'll have no choice. Oh well, I guess I could go for a Volvo V50 T5... ![]() ![]() |

Oh well, I guess I could go for a Volvo V50 T5... Kyros - we have a 300c as a courtesy car at work for picking people up from the station etc, it looks nice on the outside but it's soooooooooo cheesy on the inside. |

I'm gonna tell you why "it works".
It's because imo switching from RHD to LHD is natural. The other way around is not. Cars have not been designed for RHD. Only adapted. Gearbox isn't mirrored. First gear furthest away from you is an aberration. Have you noticed you can't signal AND change gear at the same time because both actions are supposed to be done with the left hand? Thing is, if I was buying a cheap family car, I would say "*** it". I'll just buy RHD. But if I want to spend money and buy a performance car I want it to feel right. I just don't like RHD. Oh and trust me, overtaking is not a problem even for a LHD if you got 400+bhp... ![]() A8? I've been looking at either that or an XF for the next "family" car. |

That Dodge is an abomination. How can a car made in 2007 get away with that communist-Russia interior.
Get something like this instead. Its an auto so you dont have to worry about indicating and changing gear at the same time ![]() http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classifi...s/40?logcode=p or this http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classifi...ge/1?logcode=p |
