Default PayPal refund limit
Hi!
I have a question about PayPal refund limit. I know it does not really belongs there but maybe someone could explain me.

I payed for an item on Ebay and sadly the deal is off and I have started a claim on PayPal about refunding my transaction.

The transaction amount was 600 GBP

On the PayPal user agreement it states:

"13.4 How much coverage do I get with PayPal Buyer Protection?

If PayPal determines a Claim in your favour, PayPal will re-imburse you the full purchase price of the item and original postage costs only."

https://cms.paypal.com/lv/cgi-bin/ma...r%20Protection

However there is something said about EUR 500 limit:

https://www.paypal.com/lv/cgi-bin/we...ection-outside

"PayPal Buyer Protection covers eBay transactions paid with PayPal up to . Qualified transactions are covered up to €500.00 EUR."

Two sentences with a dot in the middle. What does ...PayPal up to . means? My English is not very good and maybe someone can help me to explain this.
Thank you!
