The Sun doesn't need to go all the way to Indonesia to find kids smoking. Heck stay in England you'll see plenty of that.

I was hearing about Stern and Robin talking about this kid this morning on the show and apparently, the kid flips out when they take away his cigarettes. Apparently, the parents justify that as a reason to let him smoke. What idiot let him try one to begin with?

The wow factor would be much much greater if he was inhaling and could be perceived to be enjoying it. Thankfully its more of imitation/ curiosity, which is still of course unfortunate

when i was young i remember some kids seemingly smoking also, they grew out of it though as they probably never really understood the point without inhaling. The point being addiction

Is it just me or is that kids face and expression already on par with that of a 40 year old man?

I mean, I've heard smoking ages you, but damn!

That sickens me.

But it sickens me more when I am behind a car in traffic, and there mom and/or dad up front, smoking away with the window cracked and one or more very small children in the backseat. And I see it all the time. Really pisses me off to no end. I am a former smoker, I finally knew how horrible a habit it is. But an adult has the choice to do it, I am fine with that. but those little kids in the back are not being given a choice. Any parent or adult that smokes in the direct vicinity of any minor, especially babies and toddlers should be brought up on charges and prosecuted. There is no justificartion in the world for exposing children to that crap.

Not disagreeing with you, as i feel the same way. But it is amazing that literally all of our grandparents, and a majority of us older members parents grew up in smoke filled houses, pregnancies of smokers etc. It amazes me that the avg age of death increased so dramatically over that period. Who knows how long and healthy we will live one day when the air is clean and no one smokes.

That's pretty damn funny! Totally different culture so i'm not going to comment on how bad it is though.

Just to add to discussion; my great grandad lived 'til 102 and he smoked a pipe. I would say rolling/pipe tobacco is less lethal then chemical filled cigarettes anyway. Neither does the body any favours like, but whether or not smoking causes premature death is just a case of luck i suppose.
