New game being developed in the UK.

But aside from the fact that it looks conventional and boring (even with the gimmick), I think the article is remarkable for this quote, which the UK will likely have a lot of fun with:

We want to give people the sensation of glee when they squeeze that trigger, it's an addictive more-ish quality. You just want to keep doing it
Good job, ****face. Way to give people ammunition... (heh)

Your UK jibes are starting to get tiring. I am sure the Daily Mail will have fun with this (they're the one's who had the famous "Son killed by Playstation" headline.

Having said that, other countries are more squeamish about violence than the UK, such as Germany and Australia. Also, while violence doesn't bother anyone on this side of the pond, sexual content in games (or anything else for that matter) does.

Having said that, I agree with your overall comment. He's simply fishing for attention to boost sales.

It wasn't a jab at the UK per se. You're absolutely right about Australia and Germany.

The reason I mentioned the UK was because the studio designing the game was in the UK.

Btw - is your new job in the UK or US?
