This is as embarrassing to suggest as alcohol-free beer to a grown man. But thank you Neeyik, I know you only had the best intentions.

Hey, don't knock gluten-free beer - it still contains alcohol.

Actually, a lot of micro brews are gluten free now. The most popular brew pub in my area brews all gluten free beer. You'd never know the difference. Plenty of their beers have won awards at various shows.

You still have cider, and i've grown to like red wine..... sainsburys have started doing some wheat/gluten free bread that is actually quite.. passable.

Try loads of the wheat free food becuase some is plain awful but some is quite nice. tescos wheat/gluten free muffins are good.

You will be suprised at how much better you feel within a few weeks of not eating wheet, just dont think in a few months a little bit wont hurt, beucase you will probably get away with it and you youl probably get away with again and again but it WILL catch up with you at soem point.

You can now get wheat/gluten free food on perscription... I wonder if it goes as far as wheat free beer????

I'm a celiac and I can still drink beer. My advice is to see how you go, I can't eat bread but beer is oddly fine. I think when you get diagnosed with being a celiac they tell you that all wheat is evil and that you can't eat it. I realised this was BS, I am fine with pasta for instance too.
