Default Result.
Should be with me next week in time for my first airsoft event on the 30th.

http://www.softairsektor.de/product_...G608-5MG-.html

Sadly I don't live in the US, so I'll have to make do with airsoft (which imo is better than paintball). Will save lots of money on event costs by having my own weapon.

Was looking at the gas powered L85A1, but a) its out of stock, and b) gas powered means more running costs and cleaning.

It's amazing how much it hurts when shot on a finger tip.

Been a few times with my work, it's quite fun.

what is the reasoning painball is not allowed there? It is hard for me to see how they could be any more dangerous than airsoft. Both are fun, but paintball makes it really hard to cheat when you have a paintsplash on your shirt , and the corresponding welp underneath.

Airsoft pellets leave welts too, they're just smaller. For your first point; honor system.

Paintball is permitted in NL, but airsoft rifles are not. Reason is that airsoft rifles look identical to "real" weapons, whereas paintball guns do not. Airsoft rifles are not illegal to buy in NL, but they are illegal to own (stupid I know but there you go). In Belgium though its no problem (that is where we play). NL has one of the most strict laws re: airsoft out of all of Europe.

I prefer airsoft as the emphasis is on real tactics / strategy etc - which is very different to paintball.

Having trained as an officer in the British Army - airsoft represents the closest I can get to what I used to do.

Very much looking forward to the 30th.
