Here's the deal - if you like Baron's humor and don't mind a lot of super gaiety and potentially tasteless stuff, it's a fairly funny movie. But it's not for everyone. My wife and I saw it in the theater and there were only 20 or so people in there. About 5 of them left during certain parts of the film because of some of the content. It's an amusing movie if you like his Borat type of random people-harrassment, and aren't a homophobe. But even then, you might not find it funny anyways, it's difficult to predict how people will react to it. There were several parts that we were dying laughing at, but over all it wasn't as funny as Borat was the first time I saw it. Worth seeing once, IMHO...

EDIT - dont' watch it with grandma or kids LOL

Incidentally I heard an interview with Sasha Baron Cohen on NPR. If you watch the film try and track down the interview afterwards quite interesting.

I watched it for free, and I really need to get the wasted hour and half of my life back watching this movie.

Terrible is a light description on how bad this movie is, I didn't have a single smile.

Bad, terrible, unwatchable, worst movie ever.........[thumbdown][thumbdown]

Please don't bother

i liked it a lot. i watched it with a male friend who also liked it a whole lot. the point of the movie is to attack the anit gay and help promote the gay community. on that note, there are some seriously gay moments in that movie. 'hey a bear ate all my stuff except these condoms' comes to mind.
