Damn right! I've been toting a small .22 since I was 5 and have never once been attacked by a pool. A water fountain did sneak up on me in a dark alley once, though.

People do need to read more before jumping to conclusions.

"paramedics arrived at Ross' Mirrett Island, Fla., home at 5:38 p.m. "

"And 34 minutes later, at 6:12 p.m., Ross tweeted again. "Please pray like never before, my 2 yr old fell in the pool."

So at this point he was being cared for, probably in an ambulance if not already the the hospital and her Mum tweets a short message asking people to PRAY for him. It probably took her 20 seconds from her phone while sitting in an ambulance or waiting area and feeling totally helpless.

Also, "Ross had asked her older son to turn off a hose inside the pool enclosure, and the gate behind him evidently did not close properly, said Barnett."

The pool did have an enclosure, and her other son left the gate open. She trusted her son to have closed it and therefore expected her 2 year old to be safe. I'm amazed how much controversy this has caused, it's pathetic and I imagine 95% of people didn't read any article about it and just ranted on. Poor woman.

Still tbfh, if something like that would ever happen to me (God forbid) i´d want to be next to my child, in the ambulance, at the hospital, wherever he go´s.

Yea I guess it's what you'd expect. I'm sure she was at his side though, looking at him, freaking out and wondering what the **** she could do! Tweeting for prayer wouldn't be my first choice but everyone would react differently.
