Yeah, if this is the kind of thing your 'friends' do to you, you should really ask yourself if they're the kind of friends you want around.

Now me, I like pranksters. But I don't like the kind of pranksters that do this kind of **** to 'friends' all the time. Having pranks done to you all the time gets incredibly old, real quick, unless you're the type to do them right back. If you play along, it changes things. But at one of my old jobs, we actually had someone fired because he played a prank on a co-worker where he taped his toolbox shut with about 5 rolls of clear packing tape. The guy sliced his hand open cutting it off and had to go to the hospital for stitches.
