I agree more probes should be on the menu, but this is a huge discovery. Technology has advanced enough to be able to identify that these are most likely micro-organisms from Mars.

Default Life on Mars
I to a point, try to understand people that say they don´t believe intelligent life exists outside of our planet, but i do think you´d have to be really audacious to not believe that life in general (like bacteria) exists outside of our planet
So having that said, this isn´t big news to me

cool none the less

Given the size of the universe I think it's be amazingly unlikely there isn't life elsewhere in the universe. The indication that there was life thousands of years ago on one of our nearest celestial neighbours just makes it all the more likely.

In fact, if the universe would be infinite (im not saying it is), then the chance of having an exact copy of our planet = 1

Pretty much my thoughts exactly. The universe is so insanely massive that it would be jaw droppingly surprising to not find any other lifeforms out there, even if it's just single celled.

Lets find life on Mars the planet first before apparent Mars-meteor fragments that land on Earth please, there's always a chance of Earthly contamination of the meteor fragment.

Send more probes!!!
