I to noticed this and thought "Well this is definitely fake".

And if it wasn't and it was me, I'd wait to the bikers got alongside the car, grab the wheel and turn it fast in his direction.

I wonder, would I go to jail for that?

Not necessarily fake, though. I saw an interview with a show producer who said they sometimes edit a bit to make things seem even more scary. I would not be shocked if they had changed the sequence so that she made the statement about being scared after the blood smear because it was more exciting than if she said it before. (which is possibly how it really happened)

possibly

i definitely think they add other footage though because there are "cinematic" type shots that would be hard to pull off without the "victim" noticing the cameras and such

If you mean the oriental one, I would suspect that she was told she would be shooting a commercial or something else that would have explained the cameras. For the other scenes its not really that hard: In some nature shows now you get to see a bear or something apparently face to face when in fact a stabilized camera is more than a mile away!

I am not denying that somebody somewhere fakes this stuff: I just think its unlikely that in an American show at least, would try such a thing.

if she was told it was being filmed she would know something is up. for shots where the camera keeps changing on the "vampires" where they run into them the second time, and heads hit the concrete, the camera would have been between the van and the guys hitting the ground, and it changed for each guy, then there's the helicopter following it along the road or whatever, lol.

why would you think its weird for an american show to fake something to try to keep people watching it?

Ah, you were talking about the vampire scene. You could be right. I just assumed that it was lipstick-cams hidden throughout the vehicle (ala cash cab) that are nearly invisible unless you know they are there and were specifically looking for them.

For the outside cameras, my thought was that for safety reasons, the actors had probably rehearsed the scene several times, and that each "stunt" was happening at a predefined point that allowed cameras to be set up beforehand to catch the action from multiple angles.

As for the airborne cameras, they could have used the same type of cameras that let Police-copters photograph your license plate without you ever knowing it until you get your ticket in the mail.

Or it could be fake. I just doubt that a show, especially an American one would pretend that an event was real when in fact it was not. I am not sure about other countries, but here when such things are exposed there is usually a huge stink and the show is likely to lose its sponsors and be canceled.

In instances where things are re-enacted there is always a notice at the beginning to let people know that they are only seeing a dramatized version, or re-enactment of the actual events. Its too easy to get into trouble, otherwise.

Seriously, I would not allow a condom to even be in the same room as her and I.
