I think if my girlfriend did that to me I wouldn't be able to forgive her, I am pretty sure I would break up with her but I think I would still keep in infrequent contact just to see if she is ok. We can tell you what to do, or what we think we would do, the truth is none of us KNOW what we WOULD do if it happened and it's up to you to make up your mind.
