Some legendary Australian touring cars where pulled out of retirement last weekend for a demonstration run around the Surfers Paradise circuit. These cars are priceless, so having them run around a concrete circuit is rare.

My personal favourite is the BMW being as it is the same as my car

You know you're getting old when you remember most of those cars racing! Nearly bought an ex-racing M635CSI back in the day - they'd just been excluded from racing by a rule change and were selling for about a third of the road car's cost - with spares as well! Didn't quite have the money at the time, though

My brother in-law says his school bus driver bought Peter Brocks A9X when it was cheap (I think it's the one in the video) and has it still as far as he knows. Talk about an investment!
