Rather a shame as they had some good close - bit too close with some drivers - racing and lots of action and desperate overtaking. However, they've been having problems for a while so it shouldn't be that much of a shock.

yeah, its sucks. I think it would have been a great event. The indy cars are no where near as exciting as they used to be, and it was time for a slight change.

I went to indy many many times, but the era when jacques villenueve raced, the cars were so much cooler, louder and exciting.

shame, it had the ingredients to be a good racing series, problem was it was run by idiots who knew nothing about racing.
got some friends who work within the series and its been in trouble from the beginning so its not a great supprise.
