More like saying they think you're crazy, or that you had an arguement with them and threatened them with a gun. Could be complete BS but the Police would give you all sorts of grief and they're very unlikely to prosecute the other party for wasting Police time.
Quite a few years ago one of my mates got done for 'careless driving causing an accident'. IMO, the case was complete BS! The person complaining said that my mate had been travelling at about 70khp (impossible with that car on that road - let alone with him driving) and when he lost control and spun (damp, VERY slippery road), she crashed trying to avoid him. He was done for "careless driving causing an accident", when the truth is the stupid woman was also driving too fast for the conditions and was also caught out by the slippery road and crashed - heck, she should have had warning from his skid - and was looking for an excuse. There are a lot of good, honest, hard working cops out there doing a heck of a job - just a pity about the bad apples in the barrel! |

Pain = discomfort. Well, if i was driving the speedlimit and the puddle was on my lane, then tough pickles, theres NOWT he can do. What would he rather I do? Swerve into the other lane, TO DODGE A PUDDLE? Nor should you slow down excessively for it. It's dangerous. ![]() This current person getting fined is just the cops looking to be seen doing something. Nothing was going to come of it until a few people complained. It's simply political. Let me get this straight... people are arguing over someone splashing a puddle on people with a car? And all this rubbish about they could just go home and dry off, they could be miles from home. And why should they have to go home when they most probably need to get to school? |
