Nah, it was done on a straight with a speed advantage

But it was exciting!

I'd put Alonso's overtake at 130R above this, he played chicken with MS and MS backed out.
In terms of ballsy moves I have to hand it to good ole Montoya

I wonder what excuse our local FM Badoer brigade have for today....let me guess he didnt have enough time in go karts and GP2 cars ?

And why the hell was he trying to get back onto the track with a completely destroyed suspension ?
This guy is a hazard and danger to other drivers on the track, get him out ASAP.

Both McLarens out, and Button & Alonso out too [surrender]

The excuses for Badoers performance wear thin, last race was easy to explain on lack of recent experience on any sort of racing, but this is a familiar track to him, he had 1 weekend before to get into pace etc, but he didn't really improve at all.

Oh dear, it's starting to look like Button's championship to lose, ouch...

Fisi in the Force India though, wow...!, quick, put that guy in Badoer's car for the next race...

Indeed, this starts to look like Barrichello might finally get it.

Oh bugger, bad luck on Kimi, missing one extra lap by less than a second or something.
Gotta hope he does a miracle start

Fisichella & Force India on pole though

Hope Kimi doesn't take our the Force India at the first corner, he kind of has a bad track record with them being ahead

Will be really interesting to see the fuel loads, as Fisi was quick in every session, incredible. Kind of get the feeling the rumour that Ruben's is no longer giving his setup information to Button is true, which is fair enough [thumbup]

It was a really weird qualy session, BMW being quick too? Red Bulls not exactly dominating as expected, Toyota fast....and Force India baby! Awesome!

Luca slow as hell! Ok that wasn't a surprise....

Fisi

I'll wait for the fuel loads, but perhaps Rubens is the first heavy runner? Given how close the times have been it makes sense that teams have gambled with very light fuel loads to get track position.

The Red Bulls both have very slow 3rd sectors, and will look like sitting ducks to anyone who gets close enough for a tow.

Anyone else notice Badoer was 9 km/h faster than anyone else in the third sector! Must have grabbed a tow from someone!

I don't think I've ever seen a qualifying like it, pretty much all the top cars/drivers qualifying way down, and the underdogs on top...

I've got a feeling that Ferrari did actually ask Fisi to drive for them at Monza, and he was just so excited he forgot he was still driving his current car...

What a lap from Fisi ! Smooth as you like.

Dont get how Rubens is so quick compared to Button, probably the experience coming into play at this time of the season also the track started to get hotter and Button wasnt there when it suited the Brawn car the most

Fisi

Or more likely he missed his braking point.

Do you think he was hitting a button imagining it was a KERS button and the placebo effect helped?

/Imagines Fisi pushing the button and shouting BOOST YO! [rofl]
